I’ve become a big Dr. Doom fan recently. He might be a supervillain, but he does get results. The train has returned and it is running on time. There’s less sand everywhere. Cars and the nonsense mods (which I really liked) have been done away with. Order has been restored, as it always (traditionally speaking) is under Dr. Doom. But the biggest things aren’t what Dr. Doom has fixed or taken away…it’s what he’s brought with him…

“Wrecked”, the most recent season of Fortnite , stands out to many people. It had cars, power gauntlets, a Max Max/Fallout theme and lots of people complaining about all three. Many people were claiming it was “the worst season of Fortnite ever.” I don’t find this fair and I never found it fair.

“Von Dutch” is the opening single from Charli XCX’s album Brat, which comes out on June 7th. That is a record we will be discussing when it comes out for sure. And this single has me hyped.

It is a well known fact that Dua Lipa is the world’s greatest popstar. She just is. The voice, the production, the hooks, the costumes, the choreography….I just don’t know what to say. I really enjoy the music of Dua Lipa. I genuinely think she’s an underrated artist and that’s saying something because she’s one of the biggest stars on the planet.

This is the Holy Grail of recent Future projects, because it’s basically everything we’ve ever asked of Future. Mean, angry, blistering trap bangers. Future is one of, if not the best, rapper alive and this little mixtape should be celebrated as his latest triumph, not as a throwaway mixtape.

This album will definitely age well, though probably in a different way, as evidence of both Metro and Future’s more experimental and off of the straight and narrow style music. It’s got a much softer, pop-esque record, with very different production and songwriting from the first

They’ve made a lot of classics before and it’s been a while since we got a heavy dose of Future/Metro. So naturally my expectations were high.

The new Fortnite season is peak Greek greatness. Welcome to the land of Myths and Mortals where mythical beings fight….well, mortals. Like us. And let me tell you, it is a welcome change…
