Tina’s Big Burrito: Bean & Cheese Review

If the Tina’s Beef and Bean burrito is probably the best of the trio, this one is probably the worst. Cheese is usually pretty hard to screw up. I’m not a food scientist and I couldn’t tell you exactly why the couldn’t throw more cheese on this thing, but the point is they couldn’t. And the cheese that is there? Well it has problems.

For one- it’s not very prevalent. You can’t really see that much cheese from a quick look at the innards. Not very promising. But then somehow….somehow they found a way for the cheese to like clump up the beans and it makes the whole thing lose texture. It’s not very good to eat and that’s before you factor in the cheese also being very bland and hard to find. I was very disappointed in this burrito, especially because the other ones from this company are so much better. I know they can make a good burrito, but this one isn’t good.

It is, just like the beef one, a lot of calories and protein, but this one is way less satisfying than that one, which is actually kind of good. This one just isn’t very satisfying. It feels like something is missing- cheese. Basically it feels like you’re just eating beans, which is the type of feeling you’d like to avoid if you’re already eating a frozen burrito that cost like $1.30. And that’s my point with this whole thing. Unlike the other burritos, this one makes you feel really broke.

Tina’s makes some pretty good products at their price point. This is not one of them, sad to say. Avoid, in my opinion.
